Does the conference require any registration fees? What is included in registration?

There are no registration fees for the conference, but registration is limited so please do complete your registration form early. If your registration is accepted we will contact you with more information. The conference includes meals such as lunch on April 27, coffee breaks, and a lunch on April 28, with light appetizers before Carl Wieman’s talk on April 28.

Are there parallel or concurrent talks? What are their groupings?

Yes, the three groupings are:

  1. Quantitative Reasoning
  2. Life Sciences and
  3. Physical Sciences

You will be expected but not required to attend the talks from the group that you register for. Some crossing between the groups is possible, but we would like to encourage interaction between “communities of practice” in related fields so we prefer to have groups stay together.

I wish to present for this conference. What should I do?

If you would like to present in this conference, please register in the general register link here and indicate that you wish to present for this conference in one of the form’s fields. A separate link will be sent to you for you to sign up as a speaker once we have received your registration.
